Provide support for interested members in ​certification, assist with the application and exam scheduling process. Share exciting chapter-​specific certification news—like updates on newly certified members, review programs, and any ​changes to ASIS certification policies—with the newsletter team. Plus, look into applying for ASIS ​International scholarships and awards for our chapter! Join the monthly chapter board meetings as ​needed.

Keep our chapter members in the loop by sharing all the exciting details about programs, ​workshops, and other topics that might interest members through our publications and ​notifications. Create a positive vibe around the chapter and its commitment to members ​professional growth, keep members updated on all our projects, activities, and upcoming ​meetings. Have an aim to have someone at the monthly Chapter Board meetings (whether it’s the ​chair or a delegate) to keep communication flowing and ensure everyone feels supported. Plus, ​cheer on and support the awesome sub-committees like the Newsletter editor, webmaster, ​content director, and archivists.

The go-to committee for the ASIS foundation and awards. This involves sharing information about ​the foundation's scholarships and awards with all members of our chapter. Help guide the ​submission process for nomination forms and related paperwork. Plus, manage our chapter's ​donations to the ASIS Foundation. Keep the chapters newsletter team updated with the latest ​foundation news, like award recipients! As well as attending our monthly chapter board meetings.

Connecting with others in the NextGen age group (under 40) and inviting them to be part of our ​exciting initiative! Plan some fun social and networking events for the NextGen crew while inviting ​the whole chapter. Collaborate with the chapter program team and board to create engaging ​educational sessions focused on leadership development and career paths.


P3 (Public Private Partnership)

Working together to boost partnerships between private and public entities. Plan and host an ​appreciation event for law enforcement, military, and security officers to recognize their hard work ​and sacrifice. As well as support our sub-committees focused on Law Enforcement and Military ​liaisons. We are the main point of contact for law enforcement and military officials, helping to ​promote ASIS International within those communities.

Helping the board organize and schedule our chapter meetings, making sure everything runs ​smoothly. Connect with our speakers and maintain great relationships with them. Team up with ​other committees to put together awesome education programs, seminars, exhibits, networking ​opportunities, and fun social events for everyone. Reach out to our chapter members to find out ​what interests them and what topics they’d love to see at our meetings and events.

Locate a great spot for our annual golf outing! The committee explores sponsorship opportunities ​to support this event. Building relationships with vendors for trophies, awards, and recognition is ​key. We team up with the Communications Committee to share updates about the event as soon ​as possible.

The WIS group is one of our most exciting initiatives! Planning fun social and networking events to ​bring everyone closer. Working in collaboration with the chapter program chair and the board to ​set up some educational sessions related to WIS, like leadership development and career services.
